In my last blog post, I talked about AI Sekai and how we can use it to actually chat with a virtual character. In this blog post, I’m going to show you how we can create a virtual AI character using AI Sekai.
Now, AI Sekai has this great feature where you can create your own character and you can train those characters or you can create those characters based on the parameters that you like. And this is the feature that is not available in most of the platforms. But in AI Sekai, we get this feature of creating our own virtual character.
Now, let me show you how you have to create this virtual character.
How to create your own character using AI Sekai?
So, in order to get started, just click on the “Create Character” button on the left side menu on the web page.
And then, you will see such interface where you will see all the information that you have to input like name and alias, avatar, short description, you have to define the personality of the character and what should be the first message that the characters should send once you start the conversation. Then, you can also add different things, you can train the characters on some knowledge base, as well as you can apply different tags and you can set the visibility.
So, let me show you how to fill each of these fields step by step.
Step 1 – Add Name:
In step one, you have to give the name of the character. So, for now, I can give the character name as Tommy.
Step 2 – Add photo of character
And then, in step two, you have to upload the avatar of the character. So, you can upload the character avatar in the SVG, PNG, JPG, or GIF format. And it is recommended to have this avatar of parameters like 800 pixels to 400 pixels. So, this should be your preferred height and width.
Step 3 – Adding short info about character
Now, in the third step, you have to give the short description. So, in the short description, you can write something like a young genuine AI developer creating AI Sekai. But as of now, I can give the character description as psychologist who has great understanding of human feelings.
Step 4 – personality details
Once you enter the short description, then in the fourth step, we have to add the personality or traits. So, we can add personality traits like tall, blonde hair, smart, loyal, etc. So, I can write like talented. I am giving here like talented and then smart. So, these are the personality traits that you can assign to your character.
Step 5: Adding first message
Now, the fifth thing that you have to add is the first message. So, whenever someone messages this character, what should be the first message they should respond or give to the person who is talking to them. So, in this step, I can give the first message like “Hey, how are you?” So, this will be the first message that the character will respond once you message it.
Step 6: Creating a scenario (optional step)
Okay, now once you add the first message, then sixth one, you have to give a scenario. So, basically, you have to define a context the character is in. So, you can add the context. As of now, I’m not giving this scenario as it is an optional thing.
Then, you can give a few short dialogues. You can give like add an example chat dialogue between a character and a user.
Step 7: Adding knowledgebase, tags, sensored filter
And in the last step, you can add the knowledge base. So, this is the things that the character should know. So, my character should tell me knows like about psychology and human feelings. So, basically, we are creating a virtual character who can understand the human feelings and can give the correct opinions or suggestions to humans.
So, now let us add text. So, in this step, we have to add text like VTuber, non-human, historical, then real people, etc. So, add the characters that you like. Then, now you can make these characters to give like unfiltered opinion.
To have that, just select the label as unsafe here. And in the visibility settings, which is the last thing that you have to add, you can make these characters a public one. You can make the character as public or private. If it is public, then other people will be able to talk with the character. And if it is private, then others will not be able to talk with characters. And only the person like you and the people with the direct link can interact with the character.
I’m just setting this like selecting the private as an option. So, only you and someone with the link of the character will be able to talk with the character.
Step 8 – Selecting model:
And in the last step, you have to just select the model. So, I am selecting AI Sekai model. Then, you can just click on create character.
Okay, let me just add an avatar to the character. So, for the avatar, you can select any image that you like. Now, once you click on the create character button, you will see this pop-up about confirmation. So, like, you have to just click on this confirm button in order to confirm the character. And let us see what it creates.
Why I liked AI Sekai?
In this way, you can create your own character and you can customize it as per your requirement with AI Sekai. And this is the beauty of AI Sekai because we can create a character and then we can share this character with our friends and they can also talk with this virtual character. And this is just a great thing to have.
And that is why I am liking AI Sekai a lot more than other virtual character platforms that are out there. And that is why it is better than Character AI. Character AI is a leading platform, but AI Sekai is great because it has just better features than that of the Character AI.
So, that is it about how we can create an AI character using AI Sekai. Now, the only thing that is remaining is about chatting with this character. So, now start chatting. You can ask any question, see how it responds. And now, you can play with it. And once you get an idea of how it is responding, then you can create more characters of other different tags or personalities. And this is a great way to really talk with a lot of people with different personalities by just creating virtual characters.
